Anquan Boldin – Former NFL Superstar, Corey Jones’s Cousin Goes Public On Corey and George Floyd’s Murders
After Corey’s death in 2015,the family formed the Corey Lamar Jones Foundation, an Academic Scholarship Fund supporting outstanding High School Students. Corey’s cousin, Anquan Bouldin, a 14- year veteran of the NFL, learned of his cousin’s death immediately after coming off the field from playing a game with the San Francisco 49ers. “I’ll never forget that night,” said Boldin. A wide receiver with superstar stats, including three visits to the Super Bowl and a ring from one, Boldin played for the Arizona Cardinals, San Francisco 49er, and the Detroit Lions. Bolding retired in 2017 and since that time has been a prominent community and social activist, fundraiser and a powerful voice for issues surrounding the black community.

After Corey’s death, Boldin formed a powerful alliance with other like-minded former pro-football colleagues, creating —Players-Coalition.org whose mission is fundraising, education and awareness around the injustice, and inequality suffered by the black community.
